Why does he keep letting me down?

My boyfriend knows I am very keen on tarot and psychic readings, and very keen on getting a job working for this agony aunt and psychic site under Beth Shepherd.  He knows I need help and promised me he would pay for me to have a psychic email reading with her and pay for me to consult her through the site when I need to for advice or training to get me there.  This was about six months ago and every time I bring it up he says it has to wait, that he cannot afford it yet, that he needs more money before he can pay for it.  He has a very good job!  He works very long hours, so why do I have to keep waiting and waiting? What do I do?
