How much should I pay for a reading?

How much should I pay for a reading?

If you are short of money and would need to go without things you need or have to borrow and worry about paying it back then forget about having a sitting with a tarot card reader, astrologer, crystal ball gazer, clairvoyant, medium or psychic.  It is ridiculous. Whether you have a telephone reading or an affordable tarot email reading. You need to be knowing that the sitting is of benefit to you without an enormous weight on your shoulders and worrying about such things later. It would totally destroy any benefit you may gain from your session with them. There is also the possibilit that you would be so worried about the pay back later you would expect too much from the session, having expectations which are not fair to the reader, and then try to claim that they did not deliver the goods and should refund you, which would not work,  all readers are used to hearing such claims and they are not fools. They will know why you are doing it and will not work for free because you stuck your neck out and did not plan things better.

I once did two email readings for one lady I had never read for before. She ordered two very long and detailed readings from the start.  Usually someone would have one short one and then return for more when they feel more confident about you. This lady spent an enormous amount of money in one go for someone who claimed to be totally unemployed and in a lot of debt.  Nobody sensible would spend such a lot of money on such a thing when they are unemployed and in a lot of debt. But she did. I spent a lot of time on doing her two psychic email readings, I emailed them to her. She immediately tried to find fault with lots of things - ridiculous things - such as how it was sent too quickly, she expected to wait three days but it took two days, like this was  bad or some sort of crime.  She tried to make up a list of such ridiculous things as a reason why she should be refunded all of her money and get the tarot email readings for free. It was clear that she had never thought through the expense and simply wanted the readings and then decided she would con me into paying for them myself.

Let us assume you are working, have a good income, can afford a reading - after all readings are luxuries.  How much should you spend on a psychic reading?   Let's look at your options. You can go to an amateur for free,  amateur psychics are eager to practice and show off, or go to an amateur who is trying to be professional, who is very cheap,  or go to a properly established reader with a lot of experience who does it full time.  Decide how much you want to spend accordingly.  If you are consulting them about some big thing - should I marry x? should I divorce x?  should I take that job?  then make sure you go for the established full time professional, the other two will make too many big mistakes for it to be worth trusting them.  If you want entertainment and fun then go to one of them instead, there is no need to spend on that,  seeing a properly established reader is a waste of money if it is just curiosity or boredom.  That is the same whether you are rich or poor.  By booking up with a proper psychic then you are depriving them of a chance to help someone who really needs that help on that day.
